@brianmcc #SpotifyWrapped
I don't actually have a car to ride home in and sometimes listen a day or more late when I get the chance. So that is my excuse for this tweet being late

@brianprost @eldsjal @Spotify I feel you are drawing some weird parallels. Spotify pays the artists on it's platform. On the iPhone, the apps pay apple the tax. It's almost a complete reversal.

This is a step in the right direction, but it doesn't solve the problem. App developers want clear, fair rules that apply to all apps. Our goal is to restore competition once and for all, not one arbitrary, self-serving step at a time. We will continue to push for a real solution

Apple’s selective tweaks to its App Store rules are welcome, but they don’t go far enough. #TimetoPlayFair

@Deimosthemagos @JohnCarltonKing There's multiple types of capitalists. Free market capitalists have been praising "YIMBYism" for decades, although not by this name. It seems that this term has grown in popularity lately but it has always been a free market idea.

@peterkanage @Geniusbrain8 @StPaulHawk @verge @deray You realize apple is in advertising as well. They are also "building a profile" on you. I think the article below might interest you. wsj.com/articles/apple…

@nikitabier Is there any stablecoin yielding 7.4% that isn't an uncollatorilized loan? Seems like the possibility of a default of the borrower makes leveraging on this not a good idea

@CaseyNewton I’d love to know the numbers for “less than 10”

@victorvation @TechConnectify I think the issue is once your paying people to be users they're not REAL users

@TechConnectify This exists. Large software cos do user research, hiring people to show researchers how they use the app in exchange for a $100 gift card.
Thing is, a dozen one-hour sessions or so barely scratch the surface compared to billions of users using your product in unexpected ways.
