@GrantSlatton Lady White Co. 100% North Carolina cotton, made in LA. Pre shrunk, perfect thickness (6oz cotton, not a fan of excessively heavyweight shirts). And tubular knit, if you care about that.

Visiting parents and having to go hunt for caffeine hours after waking up is like playing the prologue of a sequel game where you lose all your powers temporarily and having to go through the tutorial

Convinced a university to scan Facebooks little red book on a $150k archival scanner The best PDF’s I could find were @amasad’s and a remastered version that were both low quality Reply if you’d like me to send you the link when it’s ready - should be the highest quality publicly available version to ever exist

Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer. Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork. Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser. When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted. Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.

@zeta_globin Yes this is still the best way. Beware that the NJ transit is a commuter line and scheduled like it so it might be infrequent late at odd hours. Also it's just one ticket that takes you from the airport to the NJ Transit Airport station, and then transfers to Penn. $15.75.

new york people: is this still accurate for getting from newark airport to penn station google maps for some reason always messes this up
zeta@zeta_globin

@sgodofsk here are the helpful instructions I got last xmas it takes about 30 min but it's just - get off airplane, find air train ($8?) & take it all the way to the last stop/newark station, buy ticket to penn station in manhattan ($15?) & that's the longer ride on an actual train

The one job you don't want when going on your big buddy's golf trip is being the cigar guy. It's crazy expensive, they're a pain to travel with and nobody will ever think to toss you a few bucks when asking to bum a cigar off of you.

@ArtemR @splitwise Gating core functionality is never a good look. I got so frustrated by this I actually launched my own version, snapsplit.app. A bit more minimalist than SplitMyExpenses but hopefully with Splitwise fumbling their users a thousand alternative will flourish!

Goodbye, @splitwise. Sorry, but I'm not going to pay $5/mo or $40/year to keep track of expenses 2-3 times a year. The "maximum number of expenses for today" is like 3 btw, absurdly low. They've also added 10-second countdowns before adding expenses. Yuck. Switching away.

I don't like to over-optimize (rather focus on growth), but having Internet Pipes take off makes me wonder if I should switch off Gumroad. Although I love the platform and it's been so good to me, $10k in fees in a single month feels... hefty! What are the best alternatives?
