This is the level of “comedy” that I have to put up with because I hitched my wagon to @DGlaucomflecken

@DCollingsHughes And usually deter the most stubborn sick ones who were always hard to get to go to er, not the “time wasters” (forgive the expression). People go to er when they feel so sick or have no other option. No one wants to wait 8hrs

And this is exactly it - the problem with "save the ED/ambulance for emergencies" campaigns They work. They shift the blame from a failing system to the public They convince the public it's their job to self triage And they might stop someone from seeking the help they need
