@Gingerpoping@AlboMP I expect the government to tell the truth about Medicare rebates.
I will continue to pay whatever gap there is for continuity of care with my GP.
Not at all. What it means is that each Australian taxpayer is paying circa $29 more per year. The issue is that taxpayers between ages of 17 and 64 won’t receive 0.01 cents worth in return as they aren’t eligible for the “free” Medicare service and have to pay $45 per 15 minute consultation.
@Gingerpoping@AusPoll6 That's not the margin of error, it means the "-3" and "+9" figures are relative to the previous poll which was conducted between the 8th and 14th of Feb.
Resolve's notional margin of error is +/- 2.2%.
The power to write legislation based on given variables ( your doctor already does this with your permission ) , it could crunch the numbers in minutes and with more accuracy than a person, it has no incentive to create Fudgey numbers like a treasurer does, it could calculate the necessity of bill and pump them out more efficiency than all the governments on the planet combined, but yes, I could also be prone to something a simple as poor programming, or a cup of water.
@Gingerpoping@MelbSayss@AlboMP Hence the skeleton crew, but what we cant afford I 1/8th of the nations suckling at the public teet, that should be reserved for essential services, PR teams and Social media Teams are not essential services, they are indulgences.
@johnall63155852@MelbSayss@AlboMP Ah it can lie with the right incentives. It makes mistakes and has no liability. It still has blind spots. People can still disagree with it just like people dispute facts now. And how does it form "perfect" moral answers? AI made by the imperfect, issue arise.
I can't come up with all the solutions for everything on the spot, but AI could, fast, efficient, logical, can't lie, has no reason to, you ask AI why it did something you get a logical response with cited sources, a politician just lies, why are we even still tolerating it, it's 2026 not 1901.
@Gingerpoping@MelbSayss@AlboMP They are people, not government departments, the government could crumble and those people would still turn up to work, tell me I am wrong, I dare you.
@johnall63155852@MelbSayss@AlboMP Thought it was a gst thing, but interesting take.
So now we have established im a sheep that will praise mediocre.
Now is it right to say you expect perfection? The apple says yes. So how is this achieved? Can you give an real world example of this perfection?
W.A. is not concerned with how the rest of Australia is run, we have legislation decades behind the rest of the nation from child protection to housing, why do you think they keep taking about segregating, it's so no one finds out how shit they do everything, the whole system needs an audit and an upgrade out of the dark ages, you would have to be visibly insane to think otherwise with the current state of Australia's Parliament, Australia deserves better than Ancient Enabled Liars waiting for their pay bump on the Throne of Ultimate Stagnation.
@johnall63155852@MelbSayss@AlboMP I dont know either way because most people deal with systems and functions. I imagine the list of people who know every functions of every department of even just federal could be count on two hands.
