Harry & Meghan’s spokesperson statement only covered travel and trip costs, not necessarily policing/security resources. They know perfectly well Harry is the son of their head of state & his trip might entail motorbike escort, crowd control, route security & intelligence monitoring which is absorbed by the government. So the argument in Australia is specifically about police resources, not whether Harry and Meghan are paying for their own trip. Nice try though, Harry & Meghan. 🙄 Australians are not stupid. 🇦🇺
