This man finds it extremely aggravating when you are in a left hand turn lane and the car in front stops at the white line. He says you pull into the middle of the intersection and take control of the intersection and wait there. If oncoming traffic doesn’t let up, you turn as the light is about to turn red and oncoming traffic stops. Many said that defensive driving classes tell you to stay behind the white line until you can make a turn and have a safe exit and this causes accidents. He says that any CDL class will tell you to take control of the intersection and pull up to the middle of it, that way everyone isn’t waiting three rotations to get through the light. What do you do? How do you drive? Do you stay behind the white line or do you pull into the intersection?

@TheEXECUTlONER_ It’s called “overtaking the intersection” to allow you to be quicker making the turn and allow more in the line to turn. Maybe they don’t teach it that way but we sure learned it growing up. I taught my kids this way.
