Across Ukraine, energy and emergency workers are restoring electricity, heating, and water in extreme conditions: sub-zero temperatures, destroyed infrastructure, and relentless Russian attacks. In major cities including Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and across the east, repair crews are out in the field under the constant threat of renewed strikes. Russia deliberately hunts the systems on which civilians depend for the essentials of life, as well as the people who repair them. Power engineers climb frozen pylons and enter damaged substations knowing Russian missiles and drones are aimed at the same targets, again and again. Despite all this, Ukraine’s life-support systems continue to function. Roads remain open. Emergency support points operate nationwide. Local authorities sustain essential services under fire and in severe winter conditions. The government remains in constant coordination with regional leaders and provides full support to restoration efforts. We thank every energy worker and emergency responder whose courage sustains our nation in this turbulent time.

We are preparing for another trip with our Mobile Unbreakable centers, "Mitzvotanks," to help people who have been left without electricity and heat due to russian attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. To understand, the temperature in Ukraine is currently reaching -21 °C/ -5.8 °F. And unfortunately, it could get even colder! Imagine how cold it is in Ukraine right now if fuel is freezing in cars. What can be said then about cold apartments and houses where small children live, where elderly people live? Please do not stop supporting and helping Ukraine. I pray G-d will perform a miracle for us!

So many people in Kyiv are still without heating, electricity after the Russian attack. The temperatures tonight will be up to -20°C. No heating means thousands of families (the elderly, the disabled) just freezing in their homes. Russia deliberately launched this attack when the weather got very cold. This is genocide. Ukraine is not far away. Ukraine is Europe, and in the 21st century people in Europe are freezing after Russian attacks. This needs to be talked about, made widely known.
