Empowering communities to take charge of their futures! 🌍 Hon. Minister @DrMusadikMalik and #UNDPinPakistan Resident Representative @SamuelRizk inaugurated the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management Center (CBDRMC) in Barah. 📍With 15 CBDRMCs already established in Gilgit-Baltistan through UNDP’s @Glof2Pakistan project, the community is now better equipped to lead #ClimateAction and reduce disaster risks through improved coordination & collaboration.

During the visit, #UNDPinPakistan Resident Representative @SamuelRizk met GB Chief Secretary Mr. Abrar Ahmed Mirza to strengthen local capacity & partnership in responding to climate challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Together, we’re paving the way for proactive, resilient communities! 🌿

Preceding the #GlacialHack Hackathon, @glof2pakistan with @cirrusismpk are rolling out awareness sessions at universities in GB and KP.
