Mr. @KaroblisR, Ambassador of the @EUPakistan, Honourable Justice Shahid Waheed, Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan, @Van_ntn, Officer in Charge #UNDPinPakistan, Mr. Troels Vester, Country Representative @UNODCPakistan, and Mr. @Jamshedmkazi, Country Representative @unwomen_pak, alongside justice sector stakeholders, civil society, and communities to reflect on the project’s impact and the shared commitment to justice for all. Jointly implemented by #UNDP, #UNWomen, and #UNODC, the project supported communities and institutions across KP, Balochistan, and Islamabad to help make justice more accessible and inclusive. Strengthening child rights governance requires stronger coordination, accountability, and implementation mechanisms at the provincial level. Under the @EUPakistan 🇪🇺 funded #HuqooqePakistanII project, #UNDPinPakistan partnered with @sfjpk to host a provincial briefing on the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child’s Concluding Observations to Pakistan at the Shaista Ikramullah Human Rights Education Centre in Lahore. Bringing together CSOs, academia, statutory bodies and government partners, the briefing aimed to support dialogue on implementation challenges, strengthen coordination pathways, and identify practical entry points for advancing #ChildRights protection in Punjab.

🗳️ The future of electoral integrity is digital. Supported by @EUPakistan, #UNDPinPakistan's PLEDGE project — in collaboration with @ECP_Pakistan — brought together ECP officers in Islamabad for a capacity-building workshop on digital outreach, social media listening, and AI-enabled communication. The initiative also advances women's meaningful participation in electoral processes. 🤝 Because strong elections need more than voters — they need well-equipped institutions. When citizens access verified information and those running elections communicate effectively, democracy works better for everyone. #EU4Women

Building a #CircularEconomy requires collaboration, innovation and collective action. ♻️ Through National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) Pakistan, stakeholders across government, private sector, academia, civil society, communities and informal waste sector came together to advance coordinated action on plastic pollution through evidence-based insights, capacity building, awareness raising and support for local innovations. With support from the @PlasticImpact and #UNDPinPakistan as the NPAP Secretariat, these efforts have helped lay the foundation for more coordinated and inclusive action towards plastic circularity in Pakistan. @wef

Where learning meets development practice. 🤝 #UNDPinPakistan welcomed students from @BahriaOfficial for an exposure visit, offering them an opportunity to engage with UNDP’s work in Pakistan and gain practical insights into how development priorities are translated into action. The session created space for dialogue on inclusive development, human rights, resilience, and the role young people can play in contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future. #YouthForDevelopment

RSIL conducted a two-day capacity development training workshop in Karachi under the @EUPakistan -funded Huqooq-e-Pakistan II project, in collaboration with the @mohrpakistan and @UNDP_Pakistan. The sessions combined lectures and interactive group exercises to strengthen participants’ understanding of the fundamentals of business and human rights frameworks, as well as key skills such as coordination, law and policy analysis and monitoring the implementation of the NAP-BHR.

⚖️ Justice serves best when disputes are resolved quickly, fairly, and without long court delays. Funded by @EUPakistan 🇪🇺 under the 'Deliver Justice Project,' the @FJAIslamabad and #UNDPinPakistan, launched the Mediator Accreditation Workshop in collaboration with the Singapore International Mediation Centre. Building on the successful accreditation of 24 judges in 2024 and the establishment of 7 Court Annexed Mediation Centres across Balochistan, the initiative is equipping judges with globally recognized mediation skills to help reduce case backlogs and improve access to justice for all. 🤝 #ADR #RuleOfLaw #AccessToJustice
