@GloriousWin @RaineyOvalle Imo, it's really great to have both available. They have an option to remove alternate(modern) controls so it would be tank on the stick too which was terrible and not designed for each other lol. But the instant 360 with the alternate is basically a cheat code lol.

I don’t. Tank controls suck. They have always sucked. I do not believe anyone who claims they prefer this garbage.

@GloriousWin @RaineyOvalle In the HD remaster, the "alternate" makes it not tank anymore, but with the d-pad you can use the tank control there— it's just like Devil May Cru when you're using alternate.

@JRX212_ @RaineyOvalle The REmake released on gamecube and re released for the newer consoles has it to where you can run around and turn a lot smoother because of the analog sticks, but its still tank controls

I would think fixed camera angles with the right stick to “focus” in front of the character would be a cool way to have the best of both, similar to Project Zomboid & Darkwood

@GloriousWin @RaineyOvalle It wouldn’t work the tank controls are a by product of the fixed camera. RE2 and 3 were originally gonna do similar controls to soul reaver but they felt it took a lot of the tension out the game and made it hard to design environments
