As an #ActuallyAutistic person, it's a red flag for me when someone who claims to be an Autism Ally™ uses the negative term "neuroatypical" rather than the inclusive positive term "neurodivergent". Neuroatypical implies I'm medically abnormal and need fixing. I don't. I'm lovely

@sexiersadie If you have an apple bottom, you're probably going to need a completely new wider seat. The good news is bike stores sell "universal" exercise bike seat replacements If the pain is in your upper thighs the seat may be set too high. For upper back pain, set seat closer to handles

Getting back on my newish spin bike after a surprise surgery + Covid weight gain, and I'm very uncomfortable. It's set up correctly per the tutorial. Trying to find info on how to adapt it for fat bodies, and everything is, "Spinning is great for losing fat!"

@sexiersadie As a lifetime big bottomed girl, if the pain is in your bottom the bike seat is likely too narrow and you need a wider seat. For a little bit wider there are pieces you can get that will cover your seat to move evenly distribute your weight
