Has anyone else tried this kind of experiment? I twisted two trees together that aren’t even in the same genus (Ficus microcarpa ‘tigerbark’ and Brya ebenus). They have been growing together like this for almost 2 years and seem to both be healthy. A twisted little Ficus salicaria as a prebonsai at the nursery. These are wired and bent when they’re very thin in order to achieve extreme trunk movement.
