Sitting at the airport reflecting on the fall for @spectsbaseball… A few things stood out about why this program is so special for our @mnicemen players — and for all the partner orgs in the system. 1️⃣ It represents what “connected baseball” really means. Players who have competed against each other for years in the Midwest now come together on the same Spects rosters — building lifelong friendships and trust. In a world where so much of youth baseball has become transactional, this is something different. 2️⃣ The 2027 group that just won the WWBA Underclass Championship has had the same core since they were 13. They’ve grown up together, learned together, failed together, and now win together. They play for each other — because they feel they owe that to one another. 3️⃣ I’ve gotten to know these families on a real level. From helping with college guidance to talking through off-field challenges — these relationships are genuine. That’s what makes it worth it. 4️⃣ The Spects National brand has never been stronger. Three national championships this fall — 2027 PBR Cup, 2028 PBR Cup, and 2027 WWBA Underclass — all earned by blue-collar Midwest kids proving they can play with anyone in the country. The north continues to be underrated, and it’s time that narrative changes. Taking over as President, my goal was simple — get the train back on the tracks. This fall, that’s exactly what we did. I couldn’t ask for better partners who all share one goal: do what’s best for the players. In a world full of transactions, come be part of something bigger. Come be part of Spects National!!! @MNIcemen @mnexposbaseball @Prime27_17 @GbaDevelopment @IowaSticks @Prospects_NE @ARPROSPECTS

In today’s youth baseball world, there are a lot of transactional clubs. Players come in. Players get moved out. Rosters change constantly. It starts to feel less like a team and more like a transaction. That environment does not build culture. It treats players like numbers instead of people. Why I love @MNIcemen and @SpectsBaseball is because we are invested in our players and families. Relationships matter. Development matters. Trust matters. When players grow within a program, coaches get to know them beyond the stat line. We know their strengths. We know their work ethic. We know who they are as people. That is why college recruiting coordinators trust our programs. When we speak about a player, they know we truly know them. And they know we are going to be honest. Our goal is not just to place players somewhere. It is to help them find the right fit in college and in life. Because the best programs are not built on transactions. They are built on relationships.

Last night was the difference between throwing and pitching. Mason Miller could not find his slider early. First four hitters… not one for a strike. Then the moment got big. Tying run on 3rd. Two outs. Full count. Geraldo Perdomo had already fouled off a couple good fastballs. Everyone expected another heater. Miller went right back to the pitch he had no feel for. Slider. Frozen. Strike three. Game over. That is pitching. Throwing is relying on your best pitch. Pitching is trusting the pitch that gives you the best chance to win the moment. And that pitch he executed last night? It took thousands of pitching experiences to build that confidence. I sent this to my 13U pitchers: Pitchers… learn from this. He did not throw one slider for a strike early. But when it mattered most tying run on 3B two outs 3-2 count He went right back to it. Strike three. That is pitching.
