The 54-38 conference record equals a .587 win percentage. A .587 conference win% would rank 11th within Kermit Davis’ 16 seasons.
I don’t think peak Kermit is a fair bar for any current or future MT coach, but still feels like a decent gap between where that is and where we are.

The season ends at 17-15. Nick McDevitt is 122-133 overall as the Blue Raider HC. 69-75 in CUSA. He’s proven to be better than those first 3 disaster seasons, but 98-71 (54-38) since then doesn’t exactly have MT fans feeling like it’s 2016.

The two matchups between MTSU and LaTech this season were quite eventful as well. First was a Blue Raider 88-51 home victory in which they hit all sorts of 3-point program records. In Ruston, MT blew a 40-21 HT lead and lost 59-58 on a go-ahead DJ Dudley 3 in the final seconds.
