We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
@GoOutsideBook@xAviation Great photo. On the lower vertical stabilizer (“fin”) and rudder we can clearly see the damage that was done to the ship shortly before this photo was taken.
Photo of the Hindenburg taken by my grandfather 90 years ago (March 29, 1936) in Aachen, Germany.
Largest aircraft ever made - 803.8 feet long.
It exploded and burned while landing in New Jersey on May 6, 1937. 62 of the 97 passengers and crew survived.

@GeorgiaTech 20 years ago, this view was blocked by a big oak, and I begged you to trim it or cut it down and show off Tech Tower. You didn't do it until a few years ago, when the tree became diseased. Hopefully you see the benefit now. I love trees, but don't let them block Tech Tower.
We look pretty good on our 140th birthday. 😉
140 years ago today, the Georgia School of Technology was founded by the state. We started with 84 students, two buildings, and one major. Now, we are the largest school in the state of Georgia. #WeCanDoThat 🎂🐝
