Supreme: Koktail Brut. Royal Bond winner. Has achieved a higher RPR than: Mydaddypaddy, El Cairos and Leader D'Allier. He also has the 3rd highest topspeed figure in the race. Like Talk The Talk, he had to come off the pace last time at the DRF. Beaten 6.5 lengths by the winner but finished really well off the slow pace. He's going to love the pace of the race and uphill finish. At 80/1 he's a knocking each-way bet. I wouldn't want to lay anyone 16/1 that he places that's for sure!

When Inothewayurthinkin bombed out on his 3 runs this season, we all shrugged knowingly and said "Well, the market told you exactly what was going to happen!" What, then, is his recent price collapse in the Gold Cup Betfair market (30 ➡️ 11) telling us about what will happen in a fortnight? Just a thought.... 🥕 He couldn't, could he? Are the Fact To File (Ryanair) x Inothewayurthinkin (GC) doubles placed 6 months ago miraculously back in play? They didn't look worth the paper they were written on after the Irish Gold Cup.

@MichaelTK1973 Donnacha the won for me. Think a lot of the OR stats are falling recently I have found. General quality of these races deteriorating. Proven course form a massive plus. Won at Chelt last time out. 7/7 won at Chelt that season, 6/7 won lto. He’ll do for me!

The Plate 10 year trend currently has a very narrow OR window. Last 10 winners were rated 139-149. We have had placed horses as low as 133 and as high as 156. 3 of the last 4 winners were double digits in age, which seems a bit unusual as no other double digit horses had finished in the first 3 in the last 10 years, so it’s been all or nothing with the veterans. All 10 winners had run 3+ times during the season (fav hasn’t) and had been placed in at least one of their last three runs. Another 10 year trend is that the max distance all winners had previously won over was between 21-22.5f, so nothing over further than that. Basically it leaves Vincenzo, who runs this weekend, and The Enabler with a fair few near misses mainly due to that 21-22.5f thing!
