All of this is well said. Hard to say anything other than the vibes are all off. The talk of dropping of standards from some of the senior players contributes massively to that. Allied with the fact that Slot clearly not popular with playing staff, I’d be in favour of a change.
All Things Liverpool@ATLiverpool_

Just to play on this hypothetical, I'd like to know answers to the following. Does a new manager at any point of the season: • Make Isak match fit the entire season after he sat out the whole summer? • Stop Leoni blowing his knee out in his first game? • Suddenly give Salah two yards more pace and not see his offensive contributions drop by near 50%? • Stop the freak goals that have been conceded off of deflections, 30 yard screamers, etc? • Stop an Iron Man in Frimpong having multiple hamstring injuries? • Stop Bradley blowing his knee out trying to clear the ball? • Stop Isak breaking his leg scoring a goal? • Stops Ekitike blowing his Achillies? • Stops the need for a transition period for those coming from another team/league? These are just a few of the instances that Slot has had to deal with this season, and, to be honest, not Klopp nor Alonso being in charge changes 90% of this. Would there be some variation? Absolutely. Is Slot infallible? Not even close. Should questions be asked? Absolutely. But let's not look at this season through a prism of bias and use all of the context available, otherwise, you're being agenda driven 🤷‍♂️ #LFC

@TheAnfieldWrap Heard someone refer to Wirtz as the new Smicer recently and I think it was a decent shout. More talented than Smicer, but rarely affects games.

"We had a lot more possession but what we were doing with it was just all over the place...the loose balls from Mac Allister killed us." "I thought Wirtz was way off it - especially in the second-half...I just want more from him, especially in games like this." 🎥 Post-Match Pint

I’m pretty certain Arne Slot’s going to be the manager still next season, A PL win and then CL qualification won’t leas to a sacking. As such, it’s clear that there’s a lot of work ahead to get the squad right. Salah, Robbo are going. Jones, Ali, Chiesa, will likely go too, Ekitike is out for ages. It feels like another window of needing about 6 new signings, at least.

@BigRedSulk I dunno. They haven’t done a close up of either team’s ‘set-piece guru’ so how good is it really?

Atmosphere and game both make you realise how overrated the Prem can be. Nothing like this on show anywhere over here.

The Boston Red Sox fired manager Alex Cora, hitting coach Peter Fatse, bench coach Rámon Vazquez and game-planning coach Jason Varitek, sources tell ESPN. While the Red Sox won today, they are 10-17 and in last in the American League East. Massive change is coming in Boston.

Great to see a new 600-metre section of the Dodder Greenway open in Ballsbridge, south Dublin. Now, wouldn't it be great to replace those bollards with more trees? 🌳 🌳 🌳 #Dublin

A sensibly thought-out structure. No unnecessary widening of the narrow streets. Just basic visual spatial awareness. No daft widening plans, no notions of grandeur. Just simple acknowledgement that Cork is a small city with small streets. One of the better built structures.

@DaleJohnsonBBC If the ref described it as it was, yet only gave a yellow, he should be taken off doing any games next week. A ridiculous decision. Clearest red you’ll ever see.

Much will depend on what Anthony Taylor told the VAR he saw. If the referee described it as we saw and chose a yellow, there's not much the VAR can do. But that's a red for me. Another case where the outcome is probably different had the opponent "played up" to it. #MCIARS

Anthony Taylor is a dreadful referee. Clearest red you’ll ever see there on Gabriel.

And here I was open to dialogue, even with someone I so deeply disagree with. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Honestly @rogerwaters, this is the reaction I unfortunately expected. It’s disappointing, but predictable. Be brave Roger. Blessed are the peacemakers, right? I’m always willing to try. We must all continue to try. Even with you.

An open letter to @Billy: Dear Billy Corgan How are you? It’s been too long. @davidmdraiman Someone forwarded me this chap’s appearance on your podcast. I’d never heard of him. Anyway, it turns out he has heard of me. It seems he has a problem with me standing up for human rights, particularly the human rights of my brothers and sisters in Gaza who are being slaughtered in a genocide by the armed forces of the Nazi racist, pariah state of Israel. You, being the lovely fella you are gave this little piece of shit a chance to clarify or even modify his position. He did. He is a psychotic racist Nazi pig. I’m told, Billy, he writes messages on bombs before the IDF drops them on civilians in Gaza. Enough said. I will continue to work with all my brothers and sisters all over the world in the movement to demand equal human rights for all human beings, irrespective of their religion or ethnicity or nationality. If you, my friend are wondering if I want a conversation with this obnoxious little prick? The answer is non merci Billy, life’s too short, he can inhabit his tiny corner of hell without the benefit of my love and truth. Love R. PS. @Disturbed ? 😂👍Er? Yeah! Just a bit!
