@paultanasi I turn 27 this month and I have never in my life felt this way about the habs. It feels like a cup is guaranteed. I remember the Bergevin era where the mindset was just get in and anything can happen with Price in net. This team feels so legit.

It’s so exciting to be Habs fan these days. I grew up watching the great teams of the late 70s then the middle 80s run and the 93 Cup but never have I seen a team in this kind of development phase where we have so much skill and talent at every position and more coming. It would be a total shock and failure if this team doesn’t win more than 1 Cup in the next 5-7 years. The potential is there to be what the BlackHawks were in the early to mid 2010’s dominating the league.

I don’t know anybody who does. They are the youngest team in the league who still as holes in key positions. Some of our top prospects haven’t even arrived yet. They are getting by on elite talent and offence. Super fun, but their holes and deficiencies will sink them.
