It's worth noting that all of MacKinnon, Landeskog, Makar, Lehkonen, Toews, Nichushkin and Rantanen - who turned into Necas & Drury - were all in Colorado before Chris MacFarland became GM. He's a decent executive but let's not pretend he built the core of this Avalanche team

@evanrawal Same story different calendar year. Vegas punched the same core in the mouth in 21 with four straight, Dallas punches them in the mouth every season. Only success these guys have had they were able to avoid both these teams, not a coincidence.
