There’s a chance he mentions it in the episode but it certainly doesn’t appear as one of his choices. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b0… And he isn’t on the list of guests for 2016 for a repeat appearance, either. #2016" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_D…

Fact check: Richard Madeley appeared on Desert Island Discs in 2009, not 2016, and he didn’t pick Hey Stephen or any other Taylor Swift songs.

@DrWhoMoment My headcanon on this is that the (police box) TARDIS has appeared so much in Earth's timeline that the first time the Fugitive Doc landed here, there was a chrono-psychic feedback loop that made the chameleon circuit think it should be resemble a police box.

Right? It wasn't immediately obvious because he didn't use "guys" at the end of every sentence.

@MrNeilAlcock @empiremagazine It's a shame it isn't with Carl Davis's incredible score expanded to cover the extra length but in a way that'll make it even more interesting to see

HOLY MERDE. 7 hours! My @empiremagazine Masterpiece essay on this is going to need updating and expanding to encompass the whole magazine.

@BothersBar My main memory of that show is that it was the best for winning money on a pub quiz machine, if you can hold your nerve when the amount starts ticking upwards. I think £15 was my record, higher than I got on any other game!

Did it not end up getting burned off over Christmas? Was there a story about a blind contestant who won over £60k but they threatened not to pay out if the episode wasn't shown? Those heady early-2000s, great days, great quiz machine.

@BothersBar Still looking for a place in the schedules for the last episode, of course.

@AndyANIMATE I couldn't believe how good that show is! I'm a sucker for Ron Moore + spaceships, but even so, incredible. The season 3 opener (doomed hotel) was so good I wished it twice as long and released as a disaster movie

Don’t tend to plug stuff I’ve watched as much as I used to on here but I finally caught and finished watching For All Mankind on Appletv and can’t recommend it enough. Now for the long wait for season 5

@MaxKashevsky I'm still annoyed that they didn't change the lyrics when someone danced to the song in the Strictly episode on directly after Wild Blue Yonder! (I know that would require a baffling amount of BBC cross-communication)
