Build a swing around what the body can do. Asking someone to adopt a technique that doesn’t match their physical capabilities is the recipe for a bad lesson. Assess, don’t guess. Full 🎥: mytpi.com/articles/swing…

Dedicating to work on the two drills every day this week before 4 rounds of @chasingscratch0 related golf this weekend. Drills: - push draw around the stick - miss the ball off the toe (to counter the heel bias) Clubs: @Titleist T200 5i and GT3 Driver

@practicalgolf I had a great time. Hit some good shots. Stayed in the moment the entire round. Also, enjoyed my playing partners. I LOVE THOSE GAME!

Tons of golfers right now are laying out their outfits, cleaning clubs, and getting ready for their rounds tomorrow morning. They’ve waited all week looking forward to teeing it up.

@JaysonNickol Grass? ;) It varies in length depending on the amount of rain. I’d say about 2-3”. My issue is I’m a sweeper of longer clubs and need to learn to get more steep or take a higher lift to ensure getting out. Seems like a constant battle each year.

How do you rate your game early in the season? How many rounds do you allow yourself to get back in the “groove”?

@practicalgolf I totally struggle with this. I’ve gotten better at it by so hard. I love the new thought here, can only add to the tool kit. Thanks, Jon!

You can throw away shots so quickly when you lose control of your emotions. It’s very, very easy to do One thing I try I hold myself accountable to and players that I coach is the idea of being “stingy” with every stroke. You have to find a way to slow yourself down. Not easy!

Well that’s it, bye Cali, but will be back. @goathillpark had a blast. Can’t wait for my season to start back home… where it’s still below freezing. 🥶 where you playing this weekend? Send photos to cheer me up.

My name was mentioned earlier on the ESPN broadcast, which was pretty cool. 10 years ago I wrote blog posts that I hoped 10 people would read! I’d post the video but afraid of the copyright blowback from the tour 😬😬

The most gifted and talented golfer in the history of golf… The Greggie 🙂 What do you see in this swing that’s kept him from winning 19 majors? Video credit @4golfonline @GregChalmersPGA
