@Cernovich 50 Million "Independent" voters voted in 2024. Estimation is a little less than half of them voted for Trump. So I wouldn't say he hasn't lost any voters. He just hasn't lost any of a certain group whose beliefs are whatever Trump tells them they are.

After I saw President Trump call out Israel for striking the South Pars gas field, something clicked for me. He didn't join Israel's war with Iran because he was duped. He stepped in to control the OUTCOME of the war.

Added bonus of people who used to hate him coming around and telling him how strong and capable he is. They publicly flip flopped on their disapproval of Trump, so they make him feel even stronger. He’d want to keep them closer because they are constant proof of making someone else admit they were wrong. Narcissistic ego is pretty easy to manipulate. And that’s outside of all the potential financial interests.

@GoodAMLiberty See, what I can't stop thinking about is: who does Trump ultimately do anything for? Answer: himself. But, it's not as if he can run for a third term (sorry, Bannon), so I'm struggling to come up with alternative explanations. I do think he loves and cares for his family, so....

America and Israel might be fighting this war together, but there will hopefully come a day when Trump realizes the two countries have very different end goals in mind.

Simple answer is libertarians reveal how hypocritical most conservatives are when it comes to limited government/constitutional principles. Without libertarians, republicans would be able to claim small government, free market, constitutional principles, etc. . So like most entrenched institutions, their biggest enemy is their direct competition.

Why does the right seemingly hate libertarians more than they hate socialists?
