Incredible development in the case of the UW troon who was stabbed.
The killer told prosecutors that he just wanted to murder a woman. That was his motive.
So he either thought the troon was a woman, or he actively included “trans women” in his definition of “women.”
Not only was this not a transphobic hate crime, it is probably the world’s first gender affirming murder.
Transphobia would have saved this guy’s life.

My take is that all males belong in the facilities set aside for males, and that it is not on women to act as human shields for male-on-male violence. We will not give in to your emotional blackmail and we will not pretend that any men deserve access to female-only spaces.
If men are so scared to use male-only spaces, they can bring it up with their brethren and ask for protection in the men’s. What they can’t do is hide behind the door of the ladies room.
