Austin FC deservedly down 2-1 to last-place Sporting Kansas City at home. Meanwhile the supporters’ section is all smiles, throwing water, yelling “even louder when we’re down.” The goal, however, is not to be.

A pretty poor first half from #AustinFC was just erased in one swing by Mikkel Desler on the volley. Completely unmarked, but still a spectacular finish with the last kick of the first half.

@Goodman @SpikeEskin @seanmackradio Yes. I’m sure the Sixers transplant fans in other cities couldn’t possibly gather 50 fans to watch a game (they do, at least in San Diego, and in the hundreds)

I want to be very clear: I have no problem with Knicks fans buying tickets to the games in Philadelphia. I wasn't there. I don't blame them for it. I blame the team not being better. My issue with Knicks fans is they are clout chasing dirtbags. They care more about being in Instagram videos than the games anyway. They're still chanting about Trea Young. Their clothes are too tight. They smell like cheap body spray. They act like going to StubHub to buy a pair of tickets for $800 is like winning World War III. The Knicks are good. You bought tickets. Let's get a grip.

Good eye, I do live in Austin! And when I can’t make it to MSG (I do at least once a year) I get together with 50 other Knicks fans here in central Texas for watch parties of EVERY playoff game. I could be wrong, but I don’t believe the Sixers (or any other team besides the Spurs) have anything similar.

@Goodman No, as you live in Austin it seems, I just worked in NY for 3 years. I went to games when I was there and surrounded by NY fans. Maybe if you leave your fake little bachelor party town and head up here you'll see.

@NBA_NewYork Jacyn Goble robbed the Knicks of a game in broad daylight when he called Brunson for a foul on a last-second heave in Houston a couple years ago. Was in the building and will never forgive him for that.

@SNYtv @IanBegley Ian, understanding that you have to protect sources, but can you clarify what you mean by optimism “in the locker room” vs. in the organization? Do you specifically mean his teammates?

@IanBegley @LegionHoops Ian I have infinite respect and appreciation for you but in this situation you gotta know that’s how the bite would be understood/aggregated.

@LegionHoops I said optimism within the knicks locker room … that wasn’t a reference to the entire organization

There’s just no chance it’s severe based on his reaction/movement when it happened. I assume the worry is that it could BECOME severe if they’re not careful. If you told me they’ll hold him out both games in Philly and hope to steal one of them, with the chance to come back for a game 5 at 2-2, I’d take that.

@JimmyTraina Inside insisting on putting Draymond and his miserable personality (not to mention non-existent comedic timing) on the show it exhibit A for me why it’s time to say goodbye altogether.

He's a mean-spirited, arrogant attention whore who isn't nearly as intelligent as he thinks he is. Zero comedic timing. Zero interesting insight. And Inside The NBA insists people want him on their televisions. Time for that show to go bye-bye.
nick wright@getnickwright

Aside from the fact that this is awful, awkward television, it’s also just ahistorical. In his 4 years in Houston, Chuck averaged 16-12-4, including averaging 18 & 12 during a run to the Western Conference Finals. Draymond continues to recreate history.
