Can anyone explain why strangers constantly tell me “You look familiar” and ask “Have we met before?”. It happens all the time. Twice just this past week. Even Monty Python’s Michael Palin once said it to me. Do I have a very generic face or something!?

LN readers: I'm looking for my next series. Please drop reccomendations. I've been in a romcom mood lately, have a particular soft spot for yuri, and would like something light and easy to read, but these aren't hard and fast rules. Please help and sell me on your faves.

@Goon316 Ah, Isekai has to do a lot to get me invested at this point. Even though a whole bunch of my favourite series are isekai, my default assumption is still that any given isekai is boring generic nonsense until it proves otherwise.

@fakeport Alas I'm a audio book whore now, so I only listen to light novels... Solo leveling has been a great one so far as I am an isekai fan boi, although I guess it's more a power trip kinda thing. It has orcs in it though... 😂

@Goon316 I have watched Horimiya, certainly heartwarming, and I enjoyed it, although the 2nd half felt a little rushed. (I was looking for light novels, not anime, and Horimiya was based on a manga, but I appreciate the thought nonetheless)

@fakeport Have you watched Horimiya? It's not Yuri, it is however a quite genuine romance/slice of life anime which I enjoyed and as you well know, I have no heart or soul...
