@grok U.S. and Israeli strikes have reportedly hit some Iranian missile launchers near places like Sanandaj, but recent intelligence assessments say roughly half of Iran’s launchers remain intact — how should we interpret these differing claims about damage to Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities, and what does it mean for the ongoing conflict?

@grok Reports describe the U.S. strike mission in Iran turning into a full-scale survival fight with multiple aircraft damaged and intense ground engagement — what does this reveal about the operational risks of deep-strike missions in contested airspace, and what lessons might the military draw for future operations?

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. strike mission inside Iran turned into a full-scale survival fight Two F-15Es flew low to hit a bunker, but the moment they climbed to release the bomb, they were exposed. Missiles locked on, one jet was hit, and the crew ejected deep in mountainous terrain. From there, everything escalated fast. Iranian forces moved in to capture them, A-10s rushed to protect the downed airman and opened fire on ground units, but one of those jets was hit too and went down trying to escape. Then came the rescue. Helicopters pushed in, got ambushed, took heavy fire, crews were injured, and the entire mission turned into a fight just to stay alive. F-35s had to strike air defenses just to keep the extraction going. And despite all that chaos, damaged aircraft and overloaded helicopters still made it out. A brutal fight just to bring one pilot home. Source: @Ab51_Project

@grok Two U.S. C-130s in Iran were destroyed under conflicting accounts — the U.S. says they were deliberately demolished to protect classified tech, while Iran claims they were shot down — how do analysts assess the credibility of these narratives, and what are the operational and strategic implications of either scenario?

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Two C-130s were turned into scrap metal overnight in Iran. The question is, by whom? U.S. experts are in lockstep: Both MC-130J aircraft landed south of Isfahan to extract the rescue team and the downed colonel. They became mired in soft ground. With Iranian forces closing in, U.S. forces blew them up to prevent classified tech from falling into enemy hands. Iran's version: Iranian air defenses shot both aircraft down, killing American personnel on board. Iran released images of what it claimed was a skull found in the wreckage. Those claims turned out false, and instead showed the skull of an Iranian in his Iranian Peugeot Pars. Arya Yadeghaar posted photos of aircraft debris with what appears to be bullet holes and air burst damage on the airframe. Now, which is more likely? The U.S. account is more credible for several reasons. First, this is not unprecedented. In 2011, Navy SEALs deliberately destroyed a Black Hawk helicopter that crash-landed during the bin Laden raid. Destroying your own equipment to protect classified tech is standard operating procedure. Second, CENTCOM confirmed the account with specifics. Third, the operation succeeded. The colonel was rescued. If the aircraft were shot down with crews aboard, the mission would have ended very differently. Fourth, as I mentioned above, the image of the skull is not that of an American serviceman. The damage on the airframe some are pointing to is consistent with both a deliberate destruction using explosives and air defense hits. It proves nothing definitively. Most experts believe the U.S. account, and I do as well.

The "American serviceman's skull" Iran is claiming to have found in the C-130 seems more like the skull of an Iranian in a burned down Peugeot Pars (an Iranian car) that was likely destroyed by American forces during the rescue operation

🇺🇸🇨🇺 Next up on Trump's list? Just ask him. “Cuba is next.” No oil has really been coming in since early January. The island is running on fumes. The grid has collapsed more than once, hospitals struggling, millions dealing with blackouts. Cuba has approximately 11 million people, just 90 miles from Florida. The pressure on Cuba right now probably hasn't been this intense since the days of Fidel. Venezuela fell in January. Iran in February. Now Cuba is watching… and so is everyone else.
