The Company raised aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $463,770 in this first tranche. Insiders Fruchtexpress Grabher GmbH & Co KG and Sverre Holte participated in the offering, each acquiring 2,705,000 common shares. Following the closing, they beneficially own, or exercise control or direction over, an aggregate of 16,023,447 and 18,581,923 common shares, representing approximately 14.34% and 16.62% of the Company’s issued and outstanding common shares, respectively. The first tranche included both cash proceeds from the offering and the settlement of approximately $113,000 of indebtedness through the issuance of common shares. Some time has passed since Teako Minerals ( $TMIN | $TMIN.CN) announced an important #RareEarths deal back in July 👇 Teako sold four prospective rare-earth projects near Fens - Europe’s largest light #RareEarths deposit - while retaining a 10% economic interest in future sale proceeds. This deal strengthened our long-term value creation and reflects our commitment to project deals that preserve upside while minimizing risk. $TMIN $TMIN.cn #copper #zinc #cobalt #gold 🇳🇴 I like numbers. @TeakoMinerals raised funds today at a 62.5% premium. 0 warrants. 72% of the total shares are now in such strong hands that I am bold enough to call them “not for sale”. Share price up 25%. So it's time for a generic message about how excited we are and how much we're looking forward to spending the money? That doesn't feel right. And it's not true. The last few months have been tough and have demanded a lot from our great team. It's not easy to raise money at a premium (because who likes dilution? We certainly don't!), but we've done it several times and it's been worth it. Raising money at a discount and with a full warrant is not easy in these terrible markets either. Our existing shareholders from Austria, Germany & Denmark gave us a kickstart in this funding round. Their incredible support was the basis for securing the missing parts. What did we do then? I firmly believe that Norwegians should own their #mineral wealth, at least a large part of it. There are countless examples in the world where the local population owns nothing and has no influence on the process. In #Norway, we have all the basics needed to do things differently, to participate in the growth of this very new (and very old) sector. As owners. With that in mind, we walked out the office door to meet the local investment community. And, boy, we got a bloody nose, and another one, and another one. The hits kept coming. A major Scandinavian investment bank wrote me exactly 1 sentence: “We will not support any exploration or mining activities in Scandinavia!” (...yes, with a “!”) I could quote so much feedback we've gotten here...IF we got any feedback at all. But one stood out in a slightly odd way, and it also marked the low point in our search for a local investments: “You can come back to us when you do something with salmon.” End of story? No! Meet Sivert Wallin @SivvTheGruesome, who supported us from day 1. There was a face-to-face meeting in Molde, followed by Sverre Holte's decision, which changed Teako in an instant. And sometimes life is like that: You don't get where you want to go for weeks, not one bit - but then a piece falls into place and suddenly everything works out. The amazing support from representatives of the Orkland Municipality led to an investor meeting just 48 hours later, which was a great success! (with a big "!") I like numbers. In this private placement exactly 70% of the investors are from Norway. The total Norwegian ownership in Teako grew from 4% to around 25% over the last year with the financing being the big step forward. Norwegians living on our Løkken project are now shareholders of the company. This is what makes me smile today. Many thanks to all shareholders.
