Probably one of the most severe flushes I’ve ever seen on alts, I didn’t even imagine alts had this much leverage in them. It feels like someone got hit very hard and will see a large body float to the surface soon, reminds me a little of summer 2021. Good reminder to myself to own things that I am actually bullish on, and not things I am trying to shift on momentum. Some charts look like they’ll never recover, whereas some things look buyable for the first time in a while. When everyone is making hilarious amounts of money I am always tempted to start using leverage again. It is almost impossible to fight the feeling that you’re not making enough, or everyone else is outpacing you. Good reminder that fighting that feeling and avoid the wipeouts is worth it in the end. Check on your friends, likely a bad day for many. Personally, am concentrating my bags into the things I am happy to own for the next few years, and shedding the fat. Realised I own some assets based on not wanting to miss out, rather than on some actual thesis. Days like today are much easier for me if I think my bags will bounce back, and much worse if I’m losing money owning things I don’t even believe in. Day 305: @Nansen_ai feels like one of the most underrated airdrop plays right now. They’ve raised $88M at 750m FDV, season 1 ends Sept 30, and TGE is expected in Q4. Today I grabbed a 6-month Pioneer sub for $696. If you’ve got the funds, I think it’s a no-brainer. You get 10 points per $1 spent on subs. I'm really confident the airdrop will outperform my subscription fee. Ok. Since it looks like EVERYONE is getting drained by this guy, let me break down exactly how he’s doing it: Step 1 – The bait: He reaches out asking for “help learning to trade,” offering 20–50 SOL as payment. Step 2 – The flex: On a Discord call, he shows off a “big wallet,” huge PnL screenshots, and gambling site balances to make himself look legit. Step 3 – The setup: He asks you to create a new Axiom account. While doing this, he insists you use your mouse to copy/paste everything “so you don’t lose the password.” Step 4 – The trap: What he doesn’t tell you is that when you copy/paste with your mouse, your screen flashes the last thing you copied. He’s recording your screen the whole time. That’s how he gets your login info. Step 5 – The theft: He then has you send SOL to your trading wallet (sometimes even sending some himself to make it seem safe). Once you’re in, he uses the captured info to log into your account and drain it. If you reused the same password elsewhere, he takes those too. These guys aren’t “hacker wizards.” They’re just exploiting simple human error. Not blaming victims here at all. It’s a dirty trick and easy to fall for specially when this russian MF does not stop spamming questions non stop. Stay sharp, don’t screen-share sensitive actions, and always protect your info. <3
