This was China’s official reception for Trump today, yet I did not see the same level of outrage, mockery, or criticism toward Chinese culture and traditions.
But when something similar happened in the UAE, suddenly the internet was full of hatred, sarcasm, and double standards.
Respect for national traditions should not depend on politics, geography, or selective outrage.
