I don't think people are fully grasping how broken our government actually is right now. Today's Pam Bondi hearing was 5 hours of pure venom. Both sides are so furious they can barely stand to be in the same room. They are not acting, and it's very obvious that the anger doesn't switch off when the cameras turn off. These people are supposed to be colleagues, but they literally despise each other. Our country was embarrassed on the world stage today. Again. These people can't even talk to each other, let alone pass meaningful legislation that will improve our lives (or fix existing legislation). Our government is not functioning. They do not seem to be representing us. So wtf do we do to fix this? Serious question

@Zealbori @unusual_whales I'll give you an 'A' for effort. Unfortunately you forgot the #1 reason. Real-wages, adjusted for inflation, have not risen appreciably since around 1973...50+yrs. During that time health care, education, & housing costs skyrocketed. It's economic inequality & $ going to richest.

Here’s the truth they never say. Housing is expensive because America stopped building. We are short more than 4 million homes. Corporations bought entire neighborhoods and outbid regular people. Cities blocked new construction with zoning rules. Rates doubled and froze the market. Material and labor costs exploded. They point fingers at people with no power while the real causes come from the top. Underbuilding. Wall Street/Blackrock buying houses. Bad zoning. High rates. Inflation in construction. That is why young people can’t afford a home. Not the fake numbers. Not the scapegoats. The real problem is leadership that let the housing supply collapse.

On May 31st, it was announced that Trump administration is collecting data on all American using Palantir, $PLTR, per NYT. $PLTR has risen since the Israel-Iran missile strikes, as well. She sits on the Committee of Homeland Security. $PLTR is up 84% since her purchase.

Wake up sane #Republicans if there are any of you left. Republicans in power should pay a political price for this #MAGA #Tariff insanity. There is no upside for the country enacting these measures on this scale. None...unless you're rich.
