In the remaining days of school, you may see some out of character behaviors from some students. Remember that not all students look forward to summer break. For some students, school is their safe place… where they receive consistent food, where they feel most successful, where they are surrounded by kindness and love, and where they can just be themselves. All behaviors are communication. Respond first with empathy and compassion. Thank you for everything you do for our kids! The Hightower Baseball program traveled to the new building that was dedicated to the first responders of the Fresno Fire & Rescue Unit. The Canes dropped off several items they might need as they work, serving the citizens of Fresno and beyond. Way to go Canes!

By using TEACH skills, teachers can make classroom management more efficient and improve the learning environment. Students become more independent through the use of visuals, giving educators more time and energy for lessons and relationship building.
