ולבסוף, אני חושב שגם כלכלית אנשים לא עושים את החישוב נכון - ואני מתכוון לאלה שמתקינים עמדת טעינה פרטית בביתם. נכון, זה משדרג מאוד את חוויית הרכב החשמלי בישראל והופך אותה לסבילה, אבל החישוב הכלכלי נופל פה. התקנת עמדת טעינה פרטית עולה בין 5,000 ל-7,000 ש"ח, וזה בנוסף לעלות החשמל. החישוב צריך לכלול את עלות ההתקנה של העמדה, ולא רק עת העלות הנמוכה של קוט"ש חשמל לעומת ליטר דלק. כמה הtotal cost of ownership של הרכב, ולא של רכיב אחד שולי מתוך סך העלויות.

למה בעצם לא כל מי שקונה רכב חדש קונה רכב חשמלי? הרכבים לא יקרים ואף זולים יותר אם מדובר ברכבים סינים והחיסכון בדלק עצום. למה זה לא נפוץ הרבה יותר? הייתי מצפה שכמעט כולם יעברו לרכבים חשמלים
