@KenGardner11 @NewReaganCaucus Yeah, I’m not sure this works in the face of us sending more troops to the region or the world seeing this as a conflict we started. Backing out now is gonna be the worst version of this as far as energy prices and destabilization, so this comes off as a bluff

@NewReaganCaucus That was my take on it as well. We aren't yet done destroying their military capabilities. But we are not going to do the strait by ourselves, either. Trump refuses to do it alone and I don't blame him. He's testing other nations and they better not fail -- for their sakes.

@PaulTassi Hence having the week to recover. I do think it’ll limit of many will seriously engage but that happened with raids in Destiny too.

Yeah this is the question. You can design content that is visually, mechanically and thematically interesting but if you're completely wiping out players' vaults rapidly you're looking at potentially fractional participation. When...you already need more players
Baz Afedo@AAfeCC111

@PaulTassi Two runs. It was awesome. Lost everything. I'm going to be broke. I feel like some players will hate this lol.

@32nds The non citizen thing continues to be a magical mcguffin that there remains no real proof of. There is proof the census in 2020 likely overcounted some places and didn’t catch population drift because covid, which is fair. That would shift a few seats.

@Gpryu No, I am saying if you don't count non-citizens, several Blue states get much "smaller" and lose seats. Those people don't get counted somewhere else, they are not counted at all.

@neoavatara Yes AND he cheered on Miller and Noem vs limiting them til Minnesota forced his hand. So he owns it as much as they do… and he kept Temu Lex Luthor on staff so always a chance he repeats the mistake later.

@32nds I don’t think Texas turns blue but it will give the GOP heartburn to assume Cali losing people is a net win. Also: if the economy stays down, all the advantages in the world won’t save Rs at the midterms and they know it.

@32nds It would not. Not even close. If folks leave Cali, Texas and other red or purple states absorb the voters and that will change local races. Texas already has some bright blue districts and you can only gerrymander things so long before it bleeds out of that.

@32nds The people it will hurt are the people least engaged who just want to vote. Which hurts both parties but hey, this won’t pass, it’s just a messaging bill to appease MAGA and Trump’s ego.

@Gpryu For most people it will not even be noticeable. There's already a federal database that they will use to screen voter roles. It will just happen in the background.

@32nds Sure, Cali loses EC votes and reps. But those same voters can turn Texas purple. Florida will stay bright red til insurance premiums and other disadvantages hurt it. Net result will remain Dems probably keep popular vote, Rs maintain senate advantages.

@32nds There remains no evidence of widespread fraud or anything beyond small issues here. This is just Trump relitigating 2020, it becomes easier to just admit it as such. The census in 2030 will shift some things around but there is no clear sign who tbat benefits.

@Legal_Fil He is good at it with stuff he believes in. And he clearly is not on board with any of this, so he should not be talking about it as he can’t fake it.

@iamMimiChelles Yeah, but after Mania was where it was trending and that tracks. This is an amazing Backlash or other big 4 PPV match for these two. At Mania, it feels more sudden.

Cryo Chamber being Destiny 2 raid but with PvP and you lose your god rolls every time you die is hilariously sadistic and I love it. I love it from a distance

@32nds Again, a small part of me wants this to pass as is just to watch how much of a self own it is. This would make voting such a pain in the ass and likely surprises the GOP side as much as Dems. All because Trump still think he won in 2020.

@32nds No, it did. The original version nuked that. The GOP had to get an agreement to leave it up to states. That was table stakes to get it into the senate.

@jimmyvan I think you are right. But TK and his family would have had some idea that bid wasn’t as much as others and Vince would have been against it So why do it that way? I don’t buy altruism, that leaves trolling or wanting a look at the books.

Seeing a lot of "what if" posts regarding Tony Khan's reported bid for WWE before the TKO merger. But there is zero chance that his bid would have been accepted by Vince McMahon. Zero. If it was possible for the probability to be less than zero, it would have been that.

@32nds Also I could believe it will be married and suburban moms as a lot of them vote by mail or remote vote. The entire thing in this form is dumb but I do take some solace if passed it’s gonna hurt Trump/the GOP more than then Trump is gaming.

@32nds Often they are, yes. And overwhelming Republican. You’ll note that the save debate from Rs has been working to build one exceptions with that in mind. (Also: if you want to argue computer records, proof of citizenship requirement in this are BS at hello as they’d be there)

@Gpryu I don’t understand… are rural voters older? I assume it’s because they were born before computerized recordkeeping.
