There are few African countries with three cities that @KenyaAirways serves directly. Zambia is one of them, with direct flights to Ndola, Lusaka, and Livingstone. And thankfully so, because Kenya 🇰🇪 and Zambia 🇿🇲 are two countries that should have been neighbors. I highly recommend the people of both countries to engage more and as much as possible. They are brothers.

Karibu! On May 1, 6.9 tons of fresh Kenyan🇰🇪 avocados arrived at Guangzhou Port, and on May 9, 320 tons of Kenyan crude avocado oil arrived at Dalian Port in China. The two shipments are part of the first consignment of Kenyan exports to China under China’s zero-tariff policy, which was officially flagged off by Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Kenyan Deputy President Kithure Kindiki at the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Terminus in Nairobi on March 24. Besides avocados and avocado oil, the inaugural consignment also includes hides and skins, coffee, and green beans, etc.

We concluded the 4th Africa Forward Summit with a magnificent celebration of African fashion, music, and dance at the Kasarani Indoor Arena, showcasing some of the continent’s most distinguished designers, acclaimed music stars, and emerging young artistes. The performances were a beautiful expression of the richness and diversity of Africa’s cultural heritage, the immense promise of our continent, and the extraordinary talent, innovation, and creativity of our youth. On behalf of the Government and the people of Kenya, I once again extend our sincere appreciation to all participants, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders whose invaluable contribution ensured the success of this historic summit. We convey our special gratitude to our co-host, President Emmanuel Macron of France, for his steadfast support and commitment to championing a renewed and forward-looking partnership between Africa and France. Asanteni sana. Karibuni Kenya tena.

Met President @HHichilema of Zambia on the margins of the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi. We acknowledged the strong and blossoming diplomatic ties between Kenya and Zambia and dating back to the independence of our two nations. We committed to honour that legacy by scaling up trade and investment, agriculture, and transport connectivity through the Northern and Central corridors. Sought President Hichilema and Zambia's support for the candidature of our Supreme Court Justice Njoki Ndung'u as a judge of the International Criminal Court.

Mahamoud Ali Youssouf called on Africa to convert its vast natural, human, and institutional endowments into genuine comparative advantages through industrialisation, economic diversification and the strengthening of the continent's own financial institutions. H.E Youssouf affirmed that coherent policy, the commitment of member states, and continental stability are the foundations upon which Africa's transformation must be built, and that Africa stands ready to assume greater responsibility on the international stage. His closing words to the assembled world leaders captured the spirit of the Summit itself: "The African continent will be the powerhouse of global growth, so let us work together, let us put our energies together, and move forward." #AfricaForward #AfricaForward2026

António Guterres called for a more inclusive global order - one that fully reflects Africa's demographic, economic, and strategic significance. Is his remarks, Secretary-General Guterres stated that a system designed without Africa can no longer adequately respond to the realities of today's world. The continued underrepresentation of over 1.5 billion Africans in global decision-making institutions is not only an injustice to the continent, but a deficit for the international community as a whole. His remarks reinforced the growing call for reform grounded in equity, representation, and shared global responsibility. #AfricaForward #AfricaForward2026
