@jimrobbins @RobertBuckland @BBCWiltshire Not being in a party that has it in for the BBC would be a good start.

I often criticise @RobertBuckland for supporting his failing government, but it is important to be honest and praise him when he does the right thing. Totally agree that we should be fighting for @BBCWiltshire and quality local programming.

South Swindon’s MP @RobertBuckland has in parliament today strongly criticised the BBC’s plans to cut local radio schedules like @BBCWiltshire. The BBC says it’s investing more into local online services & is protecting radio at peak times. His speech: parliamentlive.tv/event/index/17…

@paulsinha How to use the tragic death of a man who was universally loved across the world of cricket to spread pathetic conspiracy theories and further your sick rightwing agenda. ‘Shame’ isn’t even in their dictionaries.

Unique sponsorship opportunity! I am taking part in @RideLondon Essex (100 miles) this weekend, in aid of @JDRF who research into Type 1 diabetes and provide brilliant support, especially for young people. justgiving.com/page/graham-ca…

@Britain_People @IntelligenceUK1 ‘Unpleasant’ doesn’t even begin to cover it. Raab is a talentless bully: everything Paul O’Grady wasn’t.

@AnnPoems @ElectoralCommUK It’s absolutely tiny, and even tinier compared with the problem of low turnouts. We are supposed to be a democracy, encouraging engagement, not devising barriers.
English

The way we vote is changing. On Thursday 4 May, you’ll need to bring photo ID to the polling station. Don’t have ID? You can apply for free voter ID. Find out more at electoralcommission.org.uk/VoterID
English

@ElectoralCommUK We all know it is the government’s doing, we just can’t work out why they are doing it, unless it is to discourage young people and others from voting, knowing most of them would never vote Conservative.
English

@GrahamRCarter Hi Graham, the requirement to show photo ID at the polling station is a new rule, introduced by the UK Government’s Elections Act, which was passed last year.

@GaryLineker All decent people in Britain are behind you, Gary. Our country has been hijacked by dark forces, but together we can overcome them.
