A lot of people in these comments seem convinced Nigel Farage is unpopular. The voters of Clacton disagreed in 2024, electing him with 46.2% of the vote. My prediction? He tops 70% this time. This will be an absolute landslide.

It's clear Nigel Farage remains hugely popular in Clacton. The turnout speaks for itself. The reason the other major parties ran scared from this by-election, in my view, is simple: They didn't believe they could beat Nigel. They couldn't bear the humiliation of losing to him.

Why don't you just get on with doing something useful like stopping the boats. It's hilarious that having sacked spiteful Class warrior @bphillipsonMP as Education Secretary for failing misery, you are here dictating what YOU think kids need to hear. You a self centered Narcissist moron, who incidently went to University himself. What are you really after kids to drop out and become brickies to build houses for your illegal migrants? Parents and kids are quite capable of sorting out their own paths in life. You can't even pick a respectable cabinet. You even picked a convicted criminal Louise Haigh as DPM to embarrass the UK

@Grampus97 @SecKennedy As he should. He may have started with the best intent but his diary shows a man drunk on power who was willing to let people die so he could play the hero.

The COVID era exposed a profound failure of America's public health institutions. Fauci lied about masks. He lied about social distancing. He lied about transmission. He lied about natural immunity. Under President Trump's leadership, HHS is replacing secrecy with transparency, ideology with evidence, and bureaucracy with accountability. We will tell the truth, follow the science, and put the health and interests of the American people first.

@EssexPR If it was a right leaning MP sharing something similar you would be trying to defend the behaviour.. For the record what Polanski said was disgusting - I agree he should step down as leader. Actually he shouldn’t be an MP with views like that.

No arrest, but I think Polanski should be shamed & treated like any on the right would be. I personally think that he should have to step down as a party leader. If a right leaning MP shared something similar, they’d be calls for a resignation or a by-election. You know it…

@United053651221 @RobertJenrick @reformparty_uk People are not getting it for anxiety. There are multiple forms to fill in with every single detail of your life, then go to an assessment where even people with quite severe disabilities are refused & then have to go through the tortuous appeals process.

You can change Prime Minsiters, but you can’t change the Labour Party. Hard-pressed families will invariably suffer with higher taxes to pay for the spiralling benefits bill.

@Grampus97 @RobertJenrick @reformparty_uk Not pensioners. Not the seriously disabled. And I’m talking about people who are literally incapacitated and people who are battling with cancer. The rest are scroungers yes. And Labour put them above the hardworking people who ‘labour’ every day for their wages.

Zack Polansk posted a picture on Instagram glorifying the beheading of Nigel Farage weeks after Ann Widdecombe was brutally murdered. This is the difference between the right and the left. It couldn't be more clear. The right might disagree with you, but they don't want you dead. This is blatant incitement.

@jaynzegwu @Rogowskawero Have you been to London lately? I’m British and what she is saying is absolutely correct . I’m too scared to go to London now especially if I was on my mine as a woman. Even my local town I walk down main crowded areas it’s not safe to walk alleys. Was hissed and spat on! 😷

London 2026 is nothing like the romantic fantasy of "Notting Hill". I barely hear English. The streets belong to people from every continent who have no interest in assimilating — and make it clear they never will. As a blonde woman, the stares are open, predatory, and hostile. Walking alone no longer feels safe. This is not Europe. This is not Britain. Our national identity is being erased. Our cultural heritage is being dismantled.

Husband just come back from the GP surgery as he's had his usual monthly blood test. He was the only person in the waiting room. A waiting room that always used to be full before the covid lockdowns. Will things ever go back to how they were or are we all doomed forever more to discuss our symptoms with some doctor we've never heard of over the phone? 🤷‍♂️

@SandyofSuffolk I was at our surgery for a blood test. 1st appointment of the day which came and went. Eventually nurse comes out 30 mins late - she was in a meeting that overran! Nice to know that patients are an afterthought to a meeting that was probably just a chance for a natter with tea.

@SandyofSuffolk Two to three weeks wait to see a GP in my surgery. However lucky enough to see a physio on Friday at the surgery on her once a week visit. A 'foreign' person reeking of cheap aftershave in the waiting room last time, bet he didn't wait 3 weeks!!
