@TheOneMrMatt And Sonic Gems Collection was when I learned that Sonic R ACTUALLY was supposed to have music 😂 and that your progress was supposed to save (the PC version didn’t save; at least not my copy, so I had to playthrough everything all over again every time I started the game) 💀

@TheOneMrMatt I remember the PC version when I was a kid. Picked it up from Walmart and it came with Sonic R as well. Years later, when I played 3D Blast on Mega Plus Collection, I learned that the Genesis version existed and I was sad that the Saturn music was gone 😭

Showing off some current progress with the (Saturn) Sonic 3D Blast port, from launching the game and playing to the end of Green Grove Zone Act 1. The first level is now completable with a few issues left to fix. Some notes: - This port natively plays the (Duck TrueMotion 1-encoded) FMVs exactly as they do on the Saturn with no quality loss. - Game sound effects are accurate to the Saturn as this port reimplements the Saturn's SCSP sound driver. - The main menu after the title screen is (mostly) implemented. - Badnik, flicky, and other entity behavior is much more accurate now. - Various sprite / tile layering issues fixed - Multiple sound effects can be played simultaneously, like on Saturn - there was an issue where only one sound could be played at a time. There are still a number of issues (some missing sound effects, some entity behavior bugs, 'LOADING' screens showing at the wrong points, the act-end sequence with the mesh light beam carrying Sonic away is not quite there yet, etc...), and the remaining levels still need a LOT of work...

@BannedDino I want to see a Diablos that is actually capable of full flight and can do air charges.

Is it bad that I'm hoping Diablos skips #Ascendance?

It’s got two settings, Antarctica & Bahamas. Engine gone rattle like a ‘97 Civic but it ain’t gone fail you. Can’t even hear the TV when it’s on.
