WATCHING A THREAT OF SUPERCELLS with mainly a wind and hail impact along a front on Thursday from central Illinois through northern Ohio! Most of the winds will be parallel to the cold front, which is not as conducive for a major #tornado outbreak. However, any dominant right-moving storms that can move into the unstable air will have a chance of dropping a tornado. There will be a 40-50 knot low-level jet just ahead of the front, creating some meat hook hodographs. We may chase this storm before the start of the real peak season in early April with the Dominator 3

Meanwhile another cold front arrives in the east Thursday to meet up with the RECORD HEAT over the Midwest and Corn Belt. This should result in SEVERE storms with with all hazards potentially especially damaging wind potential. SPC has a level 2 of 5 out already for Thu/Thu night.
