@simonrug Hot take on the possibility of ulster qualifying for the champions cup by winning the challenge cup.. if Ulster didnt have the challenge cup matches, they would most likely have got top 8 as they would have less games, injuries, rotatin for urc games etc..

It all means Connacht have finished eighth in the URC table, with the Lions going ahead of them on points difference. So if Ulster beat Montpellier next Friday to win the Challenge Cup, they will qualify for the Champions Cup in place of Connacht.

@ConorFletcher5 @connachtrugby What’s wrong with them is that they stand in the way of Connacht and the great Stu Lancaster (who will hopefully be the next Irish coach) being in the Champions’ Cup next year.

It’s great that all of us who really love Irish rugby now get to cheer on Montpellier next Friday night so Stu and this @connachtrugby side get to play Champions’ Cup rugby next season.

Not professing to be particularly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the offside rule, but I struggle to see how that's offside. Daizen Maeda, who's offside, doesn't receive the ball in this frame and is onside when the ball is squared to him. Open to be corrected as always.

The Celtic support should have been told, as the Hearts fans should have as well, that nobody is allowed on the pitch at any point. If they do, the game is abandoned and the offending fans lose the game for their team. It's is dangerous, very dangerous as we seen by Shankland being whacked by someone. SFA should be taken to the cleaners, as should Celtic.

The #NORvBRI game was a bad scoreline for reputation of @premrugby and seems like not a one off lately - many suggesting defence has become optional. Stats interesting as actually average scorelines have been very consistent last 4 years. What would ideal average rugby score be?
