@JasonGregor The Oilers' inability to draft has been a problem for decades. Most of the best teams in the league have a home grown goalie they drafted and developed. Wallstedt was there for the taking but the Oilers galaxy brained themselves.

Sure it is hard, but far from impossible. Good scouting helps. Ask the Flyers. Dan Vladar at $3.35m has paid off HUGE for them.
