UNPOPULAR OPINION: Working from home is 10x more productive, 5x less draining, and 100% better for real life than the office.

If capitalism truly rewarded skill or intelligence, the richest people would be neurosurgeons, engineers, and scientists. If it rewarded talent, it would be artists, writers, and creators. If it rewarded hard work, it would be cleaners, laborers, and service workers. But it’s none of them.

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity.

@Cryptified_Soul Actually you are missing the point here. Day temperatures were always high at 42-43, nights cooling would happen which isn’t happening creating urban heat islands primarily led by deforestation and poor urban planning. Even neighbourhoods, footpath trees are being chopped off.

Many people are raising concerns about temperatures as if India was a polar nation before. It was always this way! If you have not seen 42-43 degrees, then you haven’t seen India.

If you have built 1Cr wealth, you have achieved something exceptional. Maybe you can/cannot retire on this wealth. But, since you CAN achieve exceptional things, you are likely to do well in life.

@1ssve Agreed but real estate developers and downtowns can’t stand it. They need their big office building filled so people can spend money, err I mean “collaborate with their colleagues”. Nothing beats going to the office to have a Zoom meeting with everyone else in the same office!

@_sorrengailll Golf courses use 500 billion gallons of water every year. Data centers use 17 billion. You should probably learn to prioritize rather than hate technological progress which will lead to an end of forced labor and supply shortages. But yeah, gotta save the golfers! 🤡
