@OrvilleT3D @emberprototypes As someone in the Formlabs Ecosystem. There’s nothing like it. The material selection and the seamless integration is what makes it worth the money. Personally as someone who has a form 3B as well as had a Sl1S. I would easily stick with form. The prusa was just not as reliable.

I'm up to my usual shenanigans - this Stealthchanger needs to go from print down low, up to dock, and back down, for each color change, and I want that FAST. This is 800mm/s, @ 800mm^3 acceleration. I wish it was faster, but this is a massive AWD 350 gantry (quad 2804's).

@JoshMurrah @BeaconScanner I have a Rev E as well. Seems to just be a Rev D. Doesn’t have anything cool like H. But works better a bit? I haven’t noticed a difference

Spending a little time on the trident tonight - it’s Beacon time! Printing the jigs to do 90 degree mount. I have a rev E which seems an odd version. What’s up with rev E @BeaconScanner ?

Whatever you do in life, DO NOT buy an @HP printer and use the Instant Ink subscription feature. Absolute nightmare and a very scammy business model. Not even gonna bother buying other ink cartridges. Cheaper and easier to just go buy a different printer....

Imagine having a printer you can carry in a rugged case and take anywhere to print ABS/ASA parts. Just need the pop-up enclosure (maybe @WhamBamSystems hotbox?)

@JoshMurrah Pro tip as well - print a few things in different sizes since shrink rates may be different between them. And print at normal settings don’t try and change Infill percentage as that messes it up. I’ve had that issues with big abs parts

for those of you printing ABS/ASA - I got a wake up call regarding part shrinkage - I always use Polymaker ASA and just kinda assumed 0.5% always works... turns out the dark grey needs a WHOPPING 1.3% - so this is a PSA, test shrinkage for each roll you print!!

Doing some benchmarking! Takeoff Toolhead SLM printer by @PCBWayOfficial rocking the @LukesLaboratory CHUBE, with the FXD extruder, @BeaconScanner and a .5 Bozzle Nozzle. We cleared 50mm/s^3 👀. I won’t be pushing it that high for standard printing but the possibilities are awesome. 👏
