Bella, our little Ewok, has returned to The Force this May the Fourth. She passed peacefully under the Hollywood night sky like the star she was. It’s funny, back in 2009, The Poodle Rescue almost didn’t give us Bella. They thought a “married couple without kids” wouldn’t be enough for her. So we decided to prove them wrong and we gave Bella a life filled with adventure — Countless trips to The Grove, The Farmers Market, the beach, Runyan Canyon. Vacations. Dinners out. Santa visits. Quarantines. Celebrity podcast recordings. She was on set for two feature films. She even picketed in the WGA strike. I like to think we delivered on our promise. And, because we did, she touched a lot of people along the way. We gave our best friend as much love as she gave us, but that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. Sixteen years and eleven months was not long enough. Bella wasn’t just a good dog, she was the best dog.

JUST IN: Representative Darrell Issa has just violated the STOCK Act. He disclosed $175,000,000 (!!!!) of Treasury transactions late, by over 500 days. His fine for breaking the law will be $200, if he is forced to pay it. Most in Congress do not pay the fine.
