OpenTUI was what made me finally stop hating on the terminal and start using it again. Now I'm in tmux and vim instead of vscode.

If you've ever done profilling or PHP code, what are the most costly structures that have faster alternatives, but people still use worse ones?

@dhh Copilot didn’t just get better autocomplete — it’s quietly turning into a workflow-level assistant.

Did GitHub's Copilot get a huge upgrade in the last few weeks? It now consistently finds real issues, and is genuinely helpful. Hit ratio went from 1/10 to 7/10. Impressive! (Just wish it would not re-raise concerns that have been given a 👎 once already).

When you have a lot of operations over "thing", name your functions as "thing_do" instead of "do_thing". So "array_add", "array_remove_by_index", "array_clear" etc. Super noob advice, I know, but I've only arrived to it in recent years. Obvious why it's better.

It's remarkable how much of my work is completely automated w/ AI, and yet, I still am necessary. The amount of time I personally have to spend working just isn't going down. Instead, the leverage of my own time is going up. Every second I spend not working becomes more painful
