Pardon me but how does a ten year old get depressed much less take such an extreme step like this? Do kids even have such emotional capacity at that age? This does not make sense to me at all.

@chakravartiiin I think at this age I was contemplating suicide because I didn't understand the permanence of death. I'm not sure if kids can understand the true reality of dying but I know they can have suicidal ideation. my first attempt was at 8
