The Reddit meme is right about the $WEN turnaround efforts. Nelson Peltz led this thing 13 years ago and did a great job. I made a lot of money off it. They’re doing it again. The P/E is low. Dividend high. When this thing settles down from the meme hype I will pick up 2k shares more. It’s a winner. Beef prices remain a problem but they will survive it. 🍔🍟

House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday seized on a string of of progressive and democratic socialist primary victories in New York City, arguing that the Democratic Party is increasingly being driven by its far-left wing.
Johnson said Democrats, socialists and Marxists had nominated some of the most “radical” candidates ever to run for Congress and warned that the “insurgent left” is gaining influence within the party.
The Republican speaker pointed to Tuesday’s primary wins by candidates backed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, including democratic socialists Darializa Avila-Chevalier and Claire Valdez. Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander also defeated incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman after running to his left.
Johnson invoked former President Ronald Reagan’s warning about defeating communism abroad during the Cold War, arguing that socialist and Marxist ideas are now gaining traction inside the U.S. Darializa Avila-Chevalier has described herself as a communist.
The comments reflect how Republicans are seeking to use the rise of democratic socialists and progressive candidates as a political contrast heading into the 2026 midterm elections.

I support Trump's refusal to sign the Housing Bill unless Congress also passes the SAVE America Act. The Housing Bill is a bad bill. The SAVE America Act is a good bill. If the President makes the mistake of signing the bad bill, he might as well get a good one as a trade-off.

I’ve made a lot of money off $WEN in the past. It’s nice to see this play with them. I feel this stock is way undervalued and way over shorted. I currently have been holding a very small position for the last 8 months because it’s a sweet dividend. I am underwater with it but don’t care because I know it’ll bounce back eventually.
Thinking I might just buy 1,000 more shares to help the cause. But that is minuscule & might not help these guys. 😁🍔🍟❤️

But, $AMC should be able to raise $400mill towards debt with this issuance. The attendance is way up but still a long way to go.

$AMC From a pure technical standpoint this move has played out, but that doesn’t mean it can’t go further. There is an outside chance for a move to 4.05 from here, but then it becomes very extended. Memestocks are notorious for having overstretched moves to trap more retail liquidity and FOMO buyers, before having their pullback. Also on the weekly chart you can see it’s in a range where it consolidated for a long time. The most likely scenario is a push towards $4 before a pullback towards 2.50 as it cools off.

37 year old Japanese farmer Ishii Ryōtarō has been arrested for burning down a illegally constructed mosque by Pakistanis in Ebetsu, Hokkaido.
The mosque was there for over 5 years & the local government did nothing to demolish it.
