The #Lions are declining the fifth-year option on All-Pro LB Jack Campbell, per @DanMillerFox2. The option for Campbell was worth nearly $22M, which no off-ball linebacker currently makes. But the truth is: I don't think the lions had the ability to trade up or back without sacrificing too much. Miller has a high floor, def needs to work on his gap blocking and is weak against the bull rush

@HonoluluBlues_ Man, I've been trying to tell people: this draft class is...NOT VERY GOOD OVERALL. It's got a decent stock of prospects at MAYBE 3 positions, And one of those positions, Tackle, 7 outta ten of those guys will either convert to guard or MAYBE be good enough for right tackle.

Brad Holmes answered some questions from the media and one in particular stood out to me. Holmes was asked “do you have 17 first round grades on 17 players” and Holmes said “we’re not there yet we still have more evaluating to do.” To me this sounds like the Lions could be trading up in the first round
