I see James McClean's move to Derry City is going well 👀 Everyone labelled him a wanker for the way he got on but he regularly played the sectarian card. Now he is back in his native land the abuse is still coming but from his own sort & other LOI fans. What will he blame now?🤷‍♂️

That could be a massive 3 points for Rangers, certainly not tidy but a win's a win at this stage of the season. Dundee Utd hitting the post on 84th min at 2-3 and then within 30 seconds the ball is in the net for the fourth. Big pressure now on the Tim's & Jam Tarts. 🔴⚪️🔵💪

@NUFC One of the best ever full backs to play for the club, Tripps was the catalyst for other big players to join after the takeover leaving the La Liga champions for a relegation fight. Right time for him to go but does so as an icon of the club, wish him all the best for the future.

Thank you, Tripps 🖤🤍 After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires. Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

@chrisadonnelly Don't ever remember the First Minister for All attending a 12th July parade? 🤔 You can't even possibly compare Remembrance Day in November with a failed armed insurrection that wasn't even supported by Nationalsts at the time???

@newsoncool @jamesgould23 @sinnfeinireland @CatSeeley Sinn Fein logic - machine gun Marty gets Patsy Gillespie to drive a bomb to a check point, detonating it killing him and 5 soldiers, no alternative? Republicans get a take away driver to deliver a device to a police station, criticises them as reckless & thoughtless. Eh??? 🤷‍♂️

🚫NEW Lurgan: Sinn Féin Cllr - 'This advances no cause. They are lone wolves, there’s no support.' Searches carried out in town. 🎥Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 speaking to @sinnfeinireland councillor @CatSeeley. The PSNI says it is “highly likely dissident republicans” ordered a delivery driver to take a device to Lurgan police station or be killed. The councillor says this is not the true face of Lurgan, and those responsible have no support from the community. Searches are now understood to be ongoing in the town as part of the investigation. A delivery driver in the Kilwilkie area was forced at gunpoint to drive his vehicle to the station last night. A device was placed in the car and has been described as crude but viable. Around 100 homes were evacuated in the early hours of this morning due to the major security alert.

🚨 NEW: Major security operation at Lurgan Police Station after delivery driver forced to drive car at gunpoint 🎤 Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 reports from the scene. A delivery driver in Lurgan was threatened at gunpoint and forced to drive his car, with an object inside, to the town’s police station, sparking a security alert, Police Service of Northern Ireland Assistant Chief Constable Ryan Henderson has said. @duponline MP @carlalockhart says the situation is deeply concerning and not something anyone wants to see. Around 100 homes have been evacuated, and it’s understood a controlled explosion has taken place. There are numerous road closures in the area. Lurgan Town Hall has been opened for affected residents. A heavy police presence remains in the town. Justice Minister @naomi_long has described it as a “shameful and dangerous attack.” @uuponline Leader @JonBurrowsMLA says it is a clear attack on the Police Service of Northern Ireland and is causing significant disruption. @sinnfeinireland Minister and MLA @JohnODowdSF says: “This has caused massive disruption to local families and businesses. I hope the town can return to normal as quickly as possible. “No one wants to return to such scenes, and we await the outcome of investigations into the vehicle.”

If you think Prague was a missed opportunity…. Still vividly recall this game. Played England off the pitch. Sheridan missed a glorious chance to win it. Ended up costing us a place in the ‘92 Euros. This was Ireland at our prime. What could have been.
Stu’s Football Flashbacks@stusfootyflash

England vs Ireland from today in 1991, and a period of play which perfectly sums up the Jack Charlton philosophy. With the home side penned in their own box, here’s two relentless minutes of long ball, pressing, direct football. Put ‘em under pressure!
