@NUFC One of the best ever full backs to play for the club, Tripps was the catalyst for other big players to join after the takeover leaving the La Liga champions for a relegation fight. Right time for him to go but does so as an icon of the club, wish him all the best for the future.

After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.

The PSNI says it is “highly likely dissident republicans” ordered a delivery driver to take a device to Lurgan police station or be killed.
The councillor says this is not the true face of Lurgan, and those responsible have no support from the community.
Searches are now understood to be ongoing in the town as part of the investigation.
A delivery driver in the Kilwilkie area was forced at gunpoint to drive his vehicle to the station last night.
A device was placed in the car and has been described as crude but viable.
Around 100 homes were evacuated in the early hours of this morning due to the major security alert.
