every time I see a betting brand logo on a football shirt - I see a balance sheet instead and a tough rival a brand on a shirt is the most expensive due diligence process in this industry - multi-year contract. millions upfront. public exposure. basically shoving a proof of life in your face - survived the audits. source of funds checked. licenses checked. background checked. compliance is stress-tested. no league is gonna risk bad pr (except epl lol) - nobody sponsors out of love. they’ve modeled the fanbase, the conversion, the money. they expect to get paid back it’s a hunter’s game - the logo is the smoking gun pointed in my direction how am i supposed to just enjoy the match after that? we gotta lockin
