@kareem_carr Don’t worry, full blown Bayesianism is usually a temporary affliction. The condition typically responds well to introspection, and often resolves itself in a few years. In especially severe cases, I might prescribe some Jaynes.

@GreyNearing @fkratzert @MarcCoru Argh! I totally understand the frustration that comes with this. I just hope that things will get better once it is accepted that this direction can’t be ignored or argued away anymore. Be sure that you have all my support where I’m an AE!

@JulieeeMai @fkratzert @MarcCoru It’s sort of an exercise in futility to review ML papers in hydrology journals.

@JulieeeMai @fkratzert @MarcCoru The problem is that when I do review these papers, the editors tend to ignore the review because the more traditional hydrology reviewers often like these poor quality ML papers.
